We founded A+B Clinic in 1991 and have helped thousands of patients with both traditional and innovative methods. We have performed laser treatments regularly since 2007 and were among the first in Hungary to introduce adhesive surgery and perforator closure.

Academic leadership

Dr. Imre Bihari has authored 250 scientific publications, founded the Hungarian journal Érbetegségek, regularly organises national and international venous congresses and previously chaired the European Venous Forum.

We apply the latest methods to treat varicose vein disease. Every treatment is preceded by advanced duplex ultrasound diagnostics. After surgery we schedule regular follow-up visits and use additional injection therapy to remove any remaining veins.

Dr. Péter Bihari

Vascular surgeon

Graduated in 2001 from Semmelweis University, then continued research in Munich and Budapest (PhD supervisor in Hungary: Prof. Dr. Béla Merkely).

Author of numerous Hungarian and international scientific publications.

Completed his vascular surgery training in Berlin before serving as chief physician in Mainz and Bad Homburg.

Learnt the nuances of varicose vein removal directly from his father, Dr. Imre Bihari, combining scientific expertise with family tradition.
During his decades of vascular surgery practice he mastered the latest laser and hybrid methods, which he now applies at the clinic.
Explains every treatment option clearly and designs a personalised therapy plan for each patient.
